I wonder where my siblings get their energy from. They never seem to get tired. Perhaps they do but I do not see it. They have been wonderful with our first catering event last Saturday. And as I was helping them with little tasks here and there, I can’t help but whisper little prayers of thanks for what I have. As I slice the cheese for the canapes, I asked the Lord to bless all of us with this new endeavor. I kept reminding myself that I am not doing this to glorify myself. I know need presence of mind, body, and spirit because this is not a joke. It’s very exhausting but fun. I am crazy-happy-tired as we speak.
Ah, I wonder when can I have that time to rejuvenate? To exercise, to meet my friends, to pray, to read, to get that highly anticipated massage… there will be time, I know it. For now I will soak and wallow in the birth pains of my dear Kusina. I’d be a fool to think I can have it all in one go. There are still a lot of things to do…
